Lap 3 of the Seat Eurocup race 2 at Brands Hatch on the WTCC weekend, a very nice move for the lead going in to and through paddock hill bend, but behind, in the 3/4 wide racing a drive gets turned in to the end of the wall and in to a huge crash where the car lifts off the ground, distroying the end of the barrier.

After 22 laps, it all started to go wrong. Roberto Moreno decided that the best place to pass Gregor Foitek was on the outside at Paddock Hill Bend, and the result of this brainless attack was that the Brazilian ended up in the tyres. Out came the red flag. Blame was laid onb the Swiss, because of his reckelss driving style and ever-readiness to 'shut the door' for the final incident of this black weekend, this time was obvious proof of his guilt After Roberto Moreno's accident, the restart saw Johnny Herbert get away slowly, both Martin Donnely and Pierluigi Martini outdragging the Englishman. His third place then came under attack from Gregor Foitek., and the two cars collided on the straight, ramming the guardrail head-on with exceptional violence. They rebounced back into the middle of the track to be hit by Olivier Grouillard's Lola. This impact send Foitek's car into a series of rolls out of which he escaped with a chipped bone in his right hand. With both ankles broken this ended Herbert's season. Grouillard escaped unhurt but went to hospital as a precaution due to heavy bruising and shock. A total of nine cars was involved in this horrific pileup. Eventually only 10 cars lined up for the 3rd restart!

Old favourites Jason Plato and Matt Neal shared the spoils at Brands Hatch last weekend. Racing the well proven SEAT Leon, Plato's double top in the opening two rounds was perhaps predictable. Replays of Chris van der Drift's massive crash at Brands-Hatch today. Chris' car was launched into the air and hit a bridge that completely destroyed his Olympiacos car. The driver is lucky to be alive and was shortly transported to a nearby hospital. He has a leg broken in two places, broken ribs, broken fingers, cracked shoulder blade, dislocated shoulder and many more bumps and bruises. EDIT: Chris van der Drift needs YOUR HELP !!! Subscribe To Channel: www.youtube.com Seat Leon Eurocup driver Francisco Carvalho collided with fellow drivers as they went wheel-to-wheel round a corner at the Kent circuit, and was knocked off the track. With Carvalho unable to regain control his car was smashed into the metal crash barriers, causing it to flip into the air and spin round several times before flipping over the barriers towards a group of race marshalls. The marshalls fled in terror, and thankfully managed to get out of the way of the wildly flipping car before it came to a stop.

At the start of the Seat Leon Eurocup race (Which involved 2 very big, very serious accidents during it!) at Brands Hatch on 18th July under the WTCC support package! The start almost had quite a nasty accident at the bottom of paddock hill. 1 Driver gets very sideways sending others in avoidance and with 1 getting airbourne for a split second on the grass heading towards the wall. Everyone kept going but was a very lucky escape for them!

Rough video footage of the DMN Saloons race at Brands Hatch on 18th April 2010. After Rod Birley exited the race with an engine fire, an incident caused by the driver of the VW Golf sent Greg Rose in the tyre wall as he entered Brabham Straight. Boucing back on to the track, carnage ensued as Bill Richards (Mini) and Chris Hayes (Seat Leon) performed a scene out of Days of Thunder. Bill's car ended up on it's roof and a visit to hospital.
